1.Do not disassemble HP battery Pavilion G50, as this could cause leakage of alkaline solution or other electrolytic substance.
2.Keep the battery HP Pavilion G50 away from heat or fire, if you detect the issuance of an extraordinary odor or leakage of alkaline solution or other electrolytic substance, please dispose used batteries in accordance with the regulations that apply to the disposal.
3.Clean your Pavilion G50 battery metal contacts every couple of months with a cloth moistened with rubbing alcohol. This keeps the transfer of power from your battery more efficient.
4.Avoid short circuit of the terminals by keeping your HP Pavilion G50 battery pack away from metal objects such as necklaces or hairpins.
5.The HP G50 Battery with fuel gauge should be calibrated by applying a deliberate full discharge once every 30 charges. Running the pack down in the equipment does this. If ignored, the fuel gauge will become increasingly less accurate and in some cases cut off the device prematurely.
